Lunch and Business lunch
in Brussels
on the edge of the Sonian Forest
Au Repos des Chasseurs has been welcoming people who stop along the way for more than three centuries. The hunters of the Sonian Forest then, the teams and executives of south-east Brussels now. The setting has changed; the intention has not. You sit down, you take the time you need, and you leave when you said you would.
Fifteen minutes from central Brussels, at the far end of Boulevard du Souverain, a house built in 1683 opens its doors at midday — and offers what business lunches most often lack: space, quiet, parking at the door and a genuine kitchen.
Three formules
Served every midday, indoors or on the terrace. All three draw on the bistronomic brasserie menu of chef Adrien Schurgers.
Served at lunchtime. Booking recommended, and essential for groups.
Lunch - 29 euros
Starter & main course or main course & dessert
Business lunch - 36 euros
Corporate lunch - 40 euros
Important : please book 2 days in advance so your menu can be prepared to professional standards!
Quiet — the rarest luxury at lunchtime
The house borders the Sonian Forest, whose ancient beech groves are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. As soon as the weather allows, the 110-seat terrace opens onto the trees. In winter, the brasserie room and the steak house take over. Either way, you leave Brussels without leaving Brussels — and a client who has flown in remembers it.
Adrien Schurgers at the stove
Vegetarian and vegan diets and allergies are accommodated — mention them when you book and the kitchen will plan around them.
Easy to reach, easy to park, out on time
You leave on time: tell us when you need to be up from the table and the service will pace itself accordingly.
Meetings, seminars and group lunches
Beyond the brasserie itself, the house has five modular function rooms seating up to 350 guests. They can be booked privately for a board lunch just as readily as for a company seminar, with or without projection equipment.
